HOT SHOT 24- ADEBANJI SKETCHES A SCULPTED HEAD (PART 1)
Hey there, it’s great to share here again! This time I have a series of clips on how I sketch heads. Even though I am sketching from a sculpted head here, the same principles apply when I sketch a real human head.
Also at the end of this post I’ll share a few things I have been up to and some things I have planned for the summer.
Here in this clip, I describe in my usual vivid manner how I sketch a head quickly. Even though the purpose is to show how I do this from real people, I am using a sculpted head, as the same principles apply. It all comes down to angles, horizontal lines to plot where features line up to other parts, tones and the detail. I am using TOMBOW dual Brush pens and a Bic Ballpoint pen. This video has more parts and I will be sharing more.

Adebanji. The motivational clip, Thank God its Tuesday is just what my husband and I needed to get us to stop being precious. Outside the box – a brilliant description. I think we should play it every day!!!!
We loved watching you on Landscape Artist of the Year.
We are looking forward to watching, listening and reading from The Artist which I found in the town library today. Amazing how one can be lead to things in a subliminal way.
Best wishes

Thanks Pam, this comment made my day!
Hi Adebanji
Lovely to get your reply. It is absolutely pouring outside, another winter weather bomb going through our island. I am going to watch your TGTuesday session and ge motivated for this afternoon at the canvas face and draw up and paint my daugher’s aging Labrador.
I think you are such a gem, supported by Ruth, that we need this cheerful, honest wake up call on TGTuesday.
Pam
Apologies for the typos.
